Want to give your vacation a sporting twist? If so, you need three things: the right shoes, the right gear and the Gastein Motion Arena! A place where exercise is truly an alpine experience, since our trails lie at elevations ranging from 830 to 1600 metres above sea level.
The Gastein Motion Arena has created eleven clearly signposted trails extending out for some 120 km in and around the communities of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein: a true fitness paradise for the active vacationer! A full range of difficulty and the unique features of the individual trails, guarantee boundless variety during power walking, running or out on a leisurely stroll.
Panorama boards, which are located in the centres of the three towns, give you an overview of all the trails, along with information on difficulty, elevation profiles and the type of route. The “Kornland Motion Tips” will clear up any last details.
All trails in the Gastein Motion Arena bear the name of famous Austrian winter sports figures. Consequently, you can clock your laps on the Franz Klammer Trail in Bad Gastein, stroll the Hansi Grugger Trail in Bad Hofgastein or power-walk the Uli Maier Route in Dorfgastein.
The Gastein Motion Arena is also an ideal training area in winter!

The Gastein Motion Arena features 121 km of signposted trails in and around the communities of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein, with all levels of difficulty represented. At elevations ranging from 830 to 1,600 metres above sea level, runners, power-walkers and casual hikers are offered a trail network that is rich in variety.
